If you live in the Tri State area, you know just how big a deal the new Tappan Zee bridge construction project has become.
Given the enormous scale and scope of the project, the New York State Thruway Authority needed to rely on a proven team of designers, builders and an army of service providers to ensure that every step of the project is on schedule and on budget. A flawless communication system for such an grand undertaking is critical, and that’s why the NYS Thruway Authority chose Top Line for the installation of a comprehensive voice, data and video system for the entire operation.
Top Line’s main task was to bring all six temporary NYS Thruway Authority offices in Tarrytown, NY under one communication network. With a state-of-the-art voice, data and video system in place, each office could easily facilitate meetings and conferences and streamline communications between all vendors, government representatives, and agencies involved with construction of the bridge.
After cabling more than 100,000 square feet of office space, setting up multiple video conferencing rooms and providing a robust phone system for the entire helping the NYS Thruway Authority run a smooth project. Just another one of our many success stories.
Set to open in 2015, the Westchester Children’s Museum will offer exhibits that are designed to encourage imagination, play, and interactive learning.
To help get this project off the ground, Top Line donated the cabling and installed a phone and data system for the temporary office trailor, which will serve as the project’s headquarters while the museum is been built. Today, Top Line is in the process of designing all the communications — voice, data, video, access control, CCTV and even some interactive events — for the museum when it opens in 2 years.
